Writing on Computer

I graduated from Kansas Newman College in Wichita, Kansas with a B.A. in English. I studied Literature in the M.A. program at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.

While working on my graduate degree, I taught English composition to college students at Wayne State. I also tutored middle school, high school, and college students in a wide assortment of classes. Including literature, composition, grammar, social sciences, public speaking, world history, and American history.

I completed the grant writing program at the University of New Mexico Continuing Education Center in Albuquerque. I utilized those skills while serving on the board of directors of Friends of Mountain Mahogany, Inc., a nonprofit foundation which helps financially support a small charter school in Albuquerque.
